Jarrett Franklin | Photography Fine Art Landscapes

As I have begun to sell more and more prints from my fine art series it has become apparent to me that I do not like just giving out my prints bare or on matt board. So for the past few hours I have been up researching different packaging for different products in hopes of inspiration. I have come up with a few ideas that I am really excited about and hope to put one of them to use. Tomorrow I have an appointment to deliver one of my prints to a customer and I hope to have come up with the first draft of my new packaging by then. I will post up what I come up with and hopefully I can get some feedback on it. Until then if you are into design and have some time to burn, go to Flickr and just search packaging. My new fine art portfolio is up and I am really excited about it. All these images are made of anywhere from 5 to 35 layers. The base images are all from places that I have been that are special to me. I wanted to take this series in a different direction than my usual work. I think I have accomplished that. Finally I am getting some photos up. I am in the process of changing this over to my photography website, so please be patient with me. Over the next couple days the site will change many times as I refine it. My personal deadline is to have it done by Thursday. So check back often as I update the site.
